Rock and classic rock streaming server

Good morning everybody,

I have written a media server similar to shoutcast or ice-cast and was wondering if there are any volunteers to help me test it.

What i want to test is how many concurrent connections it can handle, and feedback on any other problems (buffering etc)

All you need to do is add this url http://listen.rapidaccess.co.za:8000/teststream into any media player like winamp or windows media player or vlc player and run for a few minutes.

It will be open for the next hour for tests.

Your help will be appreciated.

Working fine when just streaming through the browser (Firefox) - listening on the laptop quality sounds fine :)

Thanks Segg, running http on google or internet browser does not work unless you supply a .pls or .m3u download file. Looks like firefox is the champion browser

Just a little feedback, all is running fine on server, just need more connections to push this baby, come on people help!!

Streaming fine for me, direct thru firefox.
Give yourself bonus points for streaming Tool ;)

I want to thank all the people in helping me with my test. All worked fine, 10 concurrent users and not buffering problems, must actually just work out chrome's problem. I have my own station playing all the time for people interested in classic rock at
http://listen.rapidaccess.co.za:8000/radio But this is like the fight club, we don't talk about it. Thanks again everybody.
