I haven't had too many issues with Vox, and occasionally have better call quality on Vox calls than Telkom calls..... BUT
I have had trouble with people calling me on my Vox phone.
I have set up call forwarding, so when my Vox phone is busy/disconnected/dead, my cell should ring.
And so I have (consistently over the last 5 days) discovered that two out of every 5 times I call my Vox phone from Telkom, I get an "Invalid Number" beep tone (5-second-long beeps): 2 or 3 times in a row, then after that it suddenly starts working, for a few hours at least.
It's a bit of a catch-22 calling the Vox service center (BTW had the same problem calling them on 087 850 9111) - because by the time I call them, my number works again. Seems like it only happens when the number hasn't been called from a Telkom number in a while...
ANYBODY ELSE ENCOUNTERED THE SAME ISSUE?
Anyone from VOX / Telkom care to provide an explanation?
(Maybe Telkom is randomly dropping calls for more customers and giggles....)
