Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Talk is they trying to kill off bolt-on. Actually get quite mixed messages from Vox.

It's a 3 year old product but has literally flown below the radar for so long. I guess that was always their intentions. Not to over promote it and on account of what must be a shocking profit margin.

Anyhooo. I hope they don't go the route of the 12am-6am crowd.

Maybe they'll restructure fatpipe where you get double or triple your peak hour bandwidth to use between 6am-6pm and weekends. So 100gb fatpipe with additional 200gb to use in off peak.

thx for now i will stay on this till they make bolt on on normal FP
as im verry happy with this what i got now,but if there a even better package that i can get for a few bucks more why not :)

anyways

Don't think they will consider changing the rules for bolt on, they will only short change themselves if they do that...
Anyways, dig that song man.... :P

That would be awesome, as a potential Vox employee, what do you think are the chances of that happening?
It would be epic if they allowed the off peak data to carry over but I doubt they will let that happen...

thats a great idea, everone does dubble data from 12am

dubble data-6pm to 12am
tripple data-12am to 6am

that will be a game changer in how isp's set there cap usage

Lol. Anyone's guess.

I assume they want to kill bolt-on, on account of it being unsustainable.

At the same time every ISP out there is offering after hours value. They must too.

Just how they structure it is going to be interesting. Love having the freedom over weekends and love having the freedom after 6pm to let rip if the need arises. The midnight dance was a bit tedious. Did it with WA.

Roll over is a big plus but I can't see them doing that with the off peak allotment of data and definitely not if they giving it for free. And it would run at max line speed too!!

It's difficult to say which way they leaning. I would have thought they would diversify their gig4gig + bolt-on range but the signals lately are that they killing bolt-on off so.... Might be doing the midnight dance again soon which sucks.

Lol dude you might want to check your time schedules there??!!

Edit: it's an option but it does start making things complicated.

So if they decide to kill bolt-on then surely those that are currently paying for the service would be allowed to keep it....Just no new sign ups for bolt-on....That's how I would imagine it going down, it would be ****ty to cancel all subscribers of bolt-on and then start a new package...

Sure they'll honor all existing bolt-on packages.

Good question @Dankbanker. I wonder if they would let you activate bolt-on on those gig4gig accounts? Those the free 1gb gig4gig accounts? I don't think they would, no. They would compel you to upgrade them to 25gb gig4gig to add bolt-on...

I stumbled upon the fat pipe lite with the bolt on and I am not understanding it fully.

I just stumbled on this now too! I had no idea what you were talking about and assumed you meant gig4gig! Gig4gig has been replaced with Fatpipe lite!! So Fatpipe lite is the new product range and the product range to replace gig4gig!!

Your potential position at Vox is being reviewed....Why would the supplier want the right to shape someone on 25GB package and data does not roll over....

By the way these are torrents I've just started on my 20mb line, bolt-on... for anyone still in doubt...

Haha, that's merely a disclaimer to protect themselves in the unlikely event that they may need to shape the service.

EDIT: I see those accounts allow for up to 4 concurrent connections.

Why torrents? NNTP is so much better with the right news server....

Yeah, I use Astraweb and Alt.Binz but with limited success. I haven't quite grasped the art of news server and I seem to, more often than not, end up with damaged rar files which par2 can't seem to fix.

I have premium accounts with rapidgator as well.

I just love how well torrents perform on the right network.

seems that there no difference the lite is just a small gb package
and its perfect for me as i only used 9gb of the 25gb :P

and just a little over 100gb bolt on

wonder how is it to work for a isp :)

You should try tweaknews as a news server and SABNZBD as the client software...Really good combo...

SABNZBD - install file https://sabnzbd.org/download/
