Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Few issues for me using the website.

I'm capped and trying to either increase my additional cap or buying a bigger package.

Increased the cap but I still get the landing page that says I'm capped.

Went to the Fatpipe page but none of the buttons to buy a package are clickable, what the hell?

ping spikes again to night can cant youtube+game

used to to both :(
hope this gets fixed soon

Also getting ping spikes almost every day, making it a pain to play games online. Based in Centurion if that means anything.

Im have trouble with torrenting this evening getting 20kb/s on a 40mb line , no issues with other protocols .

Also got full line speed on torrents last night, gaming was flawless. I would really like to know what happened Sunday afternoon.

Out of curiosity, would you be able to give us a technical breakdown of the types of issues u guys get and how u resolve them?

Iv always wanted to know what happens in the "kitchens", if u get my meaning.

Are you asking me, or forumites?

So your question is aimed at the female gender on this forum?

There are so many possibilities...

Ultimately, I suppose the best answer to give you, is that we start off by taking the customer seriously. We try to replicate the issue with the customer. Often times you'll see us ask for trace routes. The reason for this is that we load balance most aspects of the network. The trace route will show us the paths that you take to reach the destination. We are then able to go to those routers (hops) and interrogate if there are problems.

If nothing is found on the router, we then look at the peering paths that might be traversed. Sometimes we find issues with our peering links and contact those peers to resolve. Other times is can be bad configuration on the account and we resolve those by updating and asking you to reconnect to the internet (issues updated configuration).

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the explanation!

If you find that there is a peering issue are the other companies forth coming with helping u?

With all the different peering links, do u guys work together to create the best routable path?

last night everything was great again like always:)
