Vox Telecom Fatpipe

You're not the first to be hit by the "cap" bug. Best to phone them, that seems to be the only way to get prompt service, they take forever to respond to emails.

Thank you, yeah phoning them worked, phoned about 4 hours ago and was told they did spot the problem, it was apparently all the Samsung promo accounts, told I should just give it a hour for them to fix and I'm now up and running.

Good luck. Took them almost 2 days to fix the same issue for me :/

I would have been livid if it took them 2 days, luckily for me this time they new exactly where the problem was and was already busy fixing it before I even called.

I don't want to be negative but for some reason I bet when December 1st comes it's going to happen again.
 
I also have this problem but took a 50gb package with afrihost. Will use it before going back to vox at the end of the month.

@voxy do I need to log a call or are you fixing it for everyone ?

We have fixed it for everyone. The issue should have been resolved already. Please let me know if you are still capped :)
 
I need to provide some feedback - the past few days have been very good.

Video streaming well, NNTP and Torrents were full speed this weekend on my 20Mbit line.

I hope it stays like this, ideally whatever changes or upgrades were implemented are working for fatpipe customers.

Also didn't have any major issues - Windows 8.1 and Office and Antivirus Updates came down at good speeds (rolled out a new PC over the weekend so lots of updates)

Yes, one month to go.

Still don't mind giving feedback when it's positive.

If VOX can bring back the service the way it was a few months ago, then who knows, I would gladly stay.

Hi, Is the Samsung promo bug on the 11/1 a recurring problem? I had it in the morning - at around 6am, and it was solved an hour or 2 later.

But - does this happen each month?
 
Anyone else having issues this evening ? Nothing resolving. Hopped onto Afrihost and all is fine.

Will try again later. It's been perfect of late - very strange.
 
Also having issues tonight, still trying to figure out whats wrong. JHB north.
 
Got my username & password for 75gb Fat Pipe data this afternoon, but I can't authenticate. Telephone support tells me the advanced team will sort it out in the morning. Someone mentioned a few pages back that you could try @dsl.lantic.net instead of @dsl.vox.co.za. I tried it, but it didn't work. What's that all about anyway?

Anybody know of anything else I could try?
