And...Packet loss to Hetzner also back this morning. I must sound like a broken record - Wish they would just fix it for good now FFS!
 
see we're being throttled at 4mb speeds. whats the use of paying for a fatpipe when you can only download at 4mb speeds???

@Voxy - whats the cancellation procedures to cancel my fatpipe account???

my four other isp accounts run at 1120kbps yet vox only 432kbps.

Go into the clientzone, and log a "fault".

When they phone you just cancel there and then?

You'll have to wait 30 days tho.
 
Ye, the "fault" I logged was "I want to cancel", and didn't email anyone and was pretty painless, they didn't even try and put me through to their retentions department or anything.

You email them. Wait 2 weeks for them to recognize your request. And then you have to wait a calendar month for cancellation to go through.
 
For the first time in a while I can say im getting full 20meg on my line. Usenet, Speedtests. Havent tested torrents though cos dont use them much these days.

Same here. But I've already cancelled.

Stuck for another month though. And even though its working now I have my suspicions that it might be something to do with the long weekend and general network strain being low. I'm pretty sure our problems will return come Tuesday morning.

Im giving it this month and if there are more issues then ill cancel and probably use multiple other ISP accounts
 
Im on the Samsung 1TB data package,thought all my internet woes would be gone seeing as vox is suppose to be the best. Im getting less than 4mb on a 10mb line.All our ISPs can go to hell.

I received this the day of sending my request for cancellation on the 1st:

Dear Valued Client

Vox Telecom hereby acknowledges your request for Cancellation of Services..
Your reference number for the request is XXX-XXXXXXX.
Please be advised that your cancellation request will be reviewed accordingly and that our cancellations department will be contacting you within two working days.
We wish you success in your business endeavours and hope to be of service to your company again in the future.

so hopefully will be getting a call from them on Tuesday but ja...not holding my breath

Have not been playing bf4 for awhile now till this weekend and only realized how bad my latency are. Tonight 235 m/s to Cape town and international ......
