Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Apple cloud backups were a problem for me that I wasn't aware of. When my wife goes to bed before me and plugs in her phone the upload completely destroys my connection. I was blaming my ISP until I picked it up.

Not saying your problem is on your side but it's worth looking for these types of things.

and when you get to the checkout is the usual R925 a month :P

i tried to checkout, it was showing R925, and it rejected the order, got an email with ref no. saying order could not be completed, contact sales.

I don't think Vox's website has a CMS or equivalent, which would allow them not to publish something. Offers seem to appear there and be edited over the course of time as they work on them.

Yet another night of poor performance while trying to watch dota tv and twitch, some minor packet loss and ping spikes

Methinx the ship is busy sinking.

Gotta disagree with you there. Was watching twitch at source last night for quite a while.

Me thinks you're wrong.

I stream everything...last night I was watching a series on Hulu and didn't have any load issues...I've only had a few issues with streaming and it's usually during peak times from 7ish to around 9ish, but this is the exchange.

Yeah, other than yesterday mornings hiccup, Fatpipe has been superb for me. Steady, stable, consistent and importantly fast...Capture.PNG

guys how is the vox uncapped home accounts 10 meg. i do mostly streaming and downloads weekends use about 150-200 gigs.

Anyone know what the smtp server is for vox? I've tried smtp.voxtelecom.co.za and smtp.lantic.net but neither seem to work for me.

Bolt-on runs from 6pm to 6am weekdays and all weekend. 6pm Friday evening till 6am Monday morning. Rate limited to 10mb but runs at max line speed (up to 10mb) on just about every protocol, just about all of the time!!

smtp.voxtelecom.co.za works fine for me. Cant remember the port now.

Thanks, but when I use smtp.voxtelecom.co.za (port 25 I think), I don't run into any errors.. It all seems fine, and the email will show as sent. It just never gets received on the other end. I've tried sending test emails to all my other accounts, and they don't ever come through.

My wife had a similar issue. She tried sending a test email to herself, but it will never deliver, but when she emails me, it works. Maybe wrong port?

Will try again using port 587 to see if that fixes it...
