Vox Telecom Fatpipe

You didn't get a response on a post from 4 days ago and now bring it up?
If I don't get a response I post again or pm cvanwie.

Actually no; not really.

Never got a response to this: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...om-Fatpipe?p=16173432&viewfull=1#post16173432

JonesY -- I didn't ignore you, I can't answer every single post.

Here's a graph for the time that you took the speed test. I adjusted the time from GMT to SAST accordingly.

You will see that the network was running max at 91.87% that 5pm hour:

Not sure what else I could offer you... That speedtest was definitely shocking and I don't have an answer for you as to why.

Could've, should've, would've.

Would you feel 'taken seriously' if your posts (plural; see: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...om-Fatpipe?p=15790782&viewfull=1#post15790782) were overlooked, while most users get a reply here, and you constantly had to resort to PM to get some attention?

I can't help with business related inquires, that's for Voxy. I'm here on my own accord trying to help where I can, provide extra insight, and understand the deep issues which our customers experience.

I am not here as an official Vox Telecom rep. I'm here to get first hand information and heads up as to where problems are which we aren't picking up.

I have a 100GB account, and then I have the 25gb account with the uncapped 6to6 bolt on. Best value for money :D

What DNS is your TV using?

Also what day / time are you talking about such slow speeds?

The DNS settings where never ever changed or tinkered with from day one, so which ever you assigned

The speeds and latency are every evening, I reported on the 12th and again on the 19th and the replies in my original post were from Phillip.

My posts have been missed in here, I simply posted again and got a reply.

Noted, shot.

Appreciate the response, thanks Chris.

Makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.

I worked with another customer a while back with a similar issue and we had resolved it that night.

Do me a favor, change the DNS on your TV/iPad/what ever you're trying to hit Showmax with; to 8.8.8.8 and or 8.8.4.4 and let me know if it's working once you make that change or not.

I haven't had much time lately to look further into Showmax and when I messaged Showmaxto assist in the trouble shooting, all I hear are crickets.

Thing is Showmax worked on Afrihost and Openweb... Seems to be a vox only issue thus far
