Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Woohoo!!!!!! But just a question...Even though my package detail changed I still only have 100GB to use this month, from when will it take affect?

There is a team rectifying the data allocation now, they ran into a bit of a problem... Use your account as normal; we'll take care of the rest.

session has expired, please login again

:(

what's the point of a mobile app that wants me to login every bloody second.

Well that settles it, between Bolt on and this I am never going to catch up to my rollover data :)

I don't believe that the Telkom FTTH is being adjusted, I believe this change was DSL related only...

Regarding Showmax, one of our DNS admins found that Showmax had a DNS TLL of 5 seconds which meant our DNS Cache environment was trying to update it constantly.

He's made an adjustment on our side that should make this experience better, please try it again when you can.

If my night permits, I might just install Showmax as well to have some hands on with it.

Is this 150GB permanent or just this month?

The data adjustment is for longevity. If you look at the Fatpipe pricing for ADSL you'll notice quite a difference in cost. Product Management decided that since existing contracts were in place, it was appropriate to auto-upgrade all existing customers to more data, which fell in line with the costing models.

Hope that's OK?

but the fat pipe is bundled with FTTH, and reflects old pricing :/

The pricing model that they modified, as far as I understand it, is solely ADSL.

"Fatpipe" relates to our premium handling of data on the network.

DSL/FTTH/FTTB may have "Fatpipe data" but it doesn't mean the pricing nor the attributes of how it's handled is the same.

I'll send a mail to find out and reply once I get an answer, but I'm fairly certain on this.

. If you look at the Fatpipe pricing for ADSL?

Could you elaborate on this? Thought Fat Pipe was data usable on any IPC product, where do I find FTTH Fat Pipe?

EDIT: post above explains it. Thanks
