Vox Telecom Fatpipe

I requested MickeyD to remove the "Vox Telecom - Solution Architect" flair from my user, since I resigned from the company.

I've been playing with the idea or sharing vs. not sharing this information; but it's a bit relevant now.

I resigned from Vox and my last day with the company will be November 30, 2015. I'm returning to the USA after 10 wonderful years in South Africa.

Anyhow, that was my decision prior to any other event by any other person. :)

All the best!

Glad to hear it had nothing to do with bored and mischievous people. :)

As I said before, can we get back on track so we don't have to mention his mistakes again please?

Why did you bring up your points?
You go off topic and then ask people to get back on topic.
You are clearly trolling.

Chris - all the best for the future.

How could it? Imagine the process required to get a South African citizen (wife) a Green Card VISA. That takes months and months. For someone to consider that you do that sort of thing in a matter of days .. is interesting.

Good luck man - it's been a pleasure having you around these parts.

Don't be a stranger now.

Well because Postman/pot/pat keeps having a go plus all the cvanclones. You also need to be aware that he never opened a fault ticket and was doing all this off-track. The Vox call centre also did not and won't unless you specifically ask them to (how odd)

So I now have to explain the fault to the next rep from the start again.

They tell me a Telkom/Vox fix was put in on the 24th but I've not seen much of an improvement. I do see clearer trace addresses, which is useful. Also that some users in CT don't have problems, whilst others do. This could be why people are experiencing different anomolies in the same area.

I can confirm this. Per his request I did NOT communicate this; that was his prerogative.

See, on topic.
Vastly different to Cvanwie & vox bashing.

Sorry to see you go Chris.
I have only been a Customer for 3 months but it was reading your posts in these forums that convinced me that VOX was a network run by the correct talent and a gentleman to boot.
All the best back in the states and I hope you will consider South Africa as your second home.

Good luck with the move Chris. I enjoyed reading your posts here to get a better understanding of what is happening behind the scenes (not that I understood most of it :) ).

Hope we still see you around on the forum seeing as you have a lot of technical knowledge and you don't mind sharing ;)

Cheers

This is a tremendous loss to all of us. You were an absolute star. Thank you for everything you did do.

A humble and heartfelt thank you from me... and all the very best in your endeavors.

Thanks again for all the fish!

Sorry to see you go Chris. I think it's safe to say you changed Vox for the better, and hopefully things don't deteriorate in your absence. Good luck with everything in the States!

This is sad to hear. I have been reading this thread eagerly since joining Vox as you so often have quietened my concerns regarding what is going on with Vox issues I'm encountering. Thanks for all the effort and your obvious passion for your work. I wish you well.

Hi Chris,

You probably don't remember me fondly.

But in just over a year you have done wonders, and am back with Vox as backup for ADSL.

Good luck with your new endeavours, and thanks for joining the forum.

Regards
Phaedrus
