Pipe down buster. The sarcasm wasnt aimed at you, but at VOX. Speed issues in the evenings have been an issue since I joined a few months ago. The issue has been reported on here ad infinitum, yet still persists. It is not limited to certain regions or users either. Sometimes between 00:00 and 06:00am, I cant even download a 240MB file in 6 hours on my 10 MB line.

It is, a hand full of people are being affected, my Vox is full speed any protocol and any time of day for almost 3 years.

I jumper aboard when the launched the 1st specials. My issues started when they introduced even better pricing and upped the 100GB accounts to 150GB accounts. During the day it's perfect, but in the evenings it's dead dead dead. That being said, my line has been down since last Sunday, so I dont know if there is any improvement.

That really does sound more like a Telkom issue with your line and exchange, since you had the lightning strike a couple of weeks back and now your line is dead again, Otherwise the thread would be flooded with complaints, like when the South had a lack of IPC capacity, and not just a handful of people.

No, this was from day one, long before the lightning strike.

Ido test with another ISP, then it's smooth sailing. My saix.net and speedtest.net show normal when this happens by the way. Look, it wont make me leave VOX, just gets frustrating at times.

I've also been testing with alot of customers and they all getting perfect results.

But any other issues, I'd be happy to investigate further.

So any news yet? I did inbox you voxy.. Even now my pages takes a while to load and i need to refresh. And 5min after i inboxed you this morning, my max speed on speed test was just above 1,2mb on a 4mb line?

I'm having streaming issues, struggle to stream on low and I am only person on the internet.
 
I just realised something... Sometimes when I do speedtests on Speedtest,net , it shows VOX Telecom under my IP Address and other days it would show Data Pro Business Online. I googled and it's obviously the same company, but it's just interesting that it uses them interchangeably..
 
My connection has been crap all day. Internet has been intermittently unstable for at least the last two months. It is not my line, other providers are fine.

Sites like imgur don't even load at all.

Is this a capacity issue?

I hate changing providers. Please don't make me change.
 
Can confirm Imgur is inaccessible for me too.

Torrents are dead atm but have been "okayish" throughout the day
 
My torrents are flying, Netflix streaming was superb until around 19:00, then dropped down to 220-280sd. Was like a flick of a switch , one moment 720HD , then boom, 220sd. SAD Panda.

The problem is you test with customers the following day and before 21:00 when the issues start!
