Can't authenticate

Spoke to support, agent said authentication issues nationwide on Vox. They are looking into it.

My fibre was down overnight, but is working now albeit slow, 10Mbps DL instead of 95Mbps DL.

Now working ok, 90Mbps DL.

Cannot authenticate ADSL via modem, when logging into portal with correct credentials I am told they are wrong and have just been locked out and told to contact helpdesk due to too many incorrect attempts on my account.... wtf.

Funny how you have to read about Vox outages / issues using a free Afrihost account. No communication whatsoever.

I asked them about a network status/ notification system on the callcentre number and they say they have nothing like that at the moment...

Of course they don't. They are also unable to use Twitter or FB, it seems.

Something is up. Because lots of us can't authenticate.

Phoned the call centre around 17:00 was told that its fibre and ADSL customers that are unable to authenticate. Sounds like a mother of all screw ups. Guy on the other side of the phone said tonight or tomorrow morning.

Would guess it's a Radius server which they use for authentication.

I can only guess this will be fixed tomorrow since the main guys are probably at home.
