Vox Telecom Fatpipe

I might be repeating here, but, if you are getting OpenServe Fibre then you should keep the account. It will still work (at max 40Mbps though)

Thanks, didn't know that. I know guys have been selling these accounts on here. How do they price it?

Anyone else's usage tracker hasn't updated since the weekend?

There is no max to the throughput. I am currently using the same promotional account (albeit with a larger monthly allotment) with 100mbit OpenServe. I get fullspeed 99% of the time (unless vox has issues). that means 100mbit down / 50mbit up

We have even tested 2x 100mbit fibre lines dialed into the same promo account, both testing at fullspeed at the same time.

Seriously? When I contacted Vox they told me my account would not work with Fibre, glad to know that's not true!

Please stop spreading this bull****. You get your full 100/50 line speed on FTTH with the Vox accounts.

Every single connection is limited to 40Mb, not your entire line speed.

If you don't believe it, please utilise a VPN and try downloading at max speed for over a minute. You will see the connection is killed off.

This is downloading from IS FTP using Chrome. Don't think Chrome supports multithreading downloads, but will download anything else if it does. The download finished at that speed.

Even youtube-dl maxes the line out.

So I am very curious where this 40MB limit is applied. I don't use VPN so maybe those connections are throttled.

Talk out of your butt, much? Have you got any data/evidence to prove this?

I have run 2x100mbit lines off the same vox promo account, at the same time, both lines getting max speed via p2p/http/ftp.

There are no speed limits/restrictions on the fatpipe accounts. It keeps giving until there is no bandwidth left on their IPC :P

I am so jealous that a 1.5GB file is taking you less than 5 minutes to download! I have to wait 20min for 700MB file to download.
