Is Vox shaping twitch ? 40mb line and cant go higher than 480p without constant buffering ?
Not just Twitch.
For the second day in a row I had to switch to Telkom because VOX blocked all ACE streams at about 1:30 PM.
Been having issues since Saturday.
I estimate that the maximum throughput I have had in the last 3 days is about 1/3rd of capacity.
Evenings has been 10% max.
To keep the wife happy I have had to download her shows during business hours to watch in the evenings.
Agree something up from the weekend. This type of issues has been coming up for a few months now. Streaming is acting very weird. IPTV streams and YouTube not good at all.
Doing a speed test still shows good throughput, but thats not the experience I'm getting. It's almost looks like shaping.
Drop them an email to [email protected].
They will probably reply to say they could find nothing wrong but have reset your account.
Each time they have done that to my account it goes back to normal for a few days.
They don't have much of an online presence but are very helpful and responsive via email and phone.

Mine has been streaming at nearly 80% of line capacity this evening, Full HD no Buffering.

i'm on the 500gb fatpipe. Sofar it's been doing fairly well.
My speeds been very consistent. Not many issues (think there was a day or two in the last 6months where I struggled with p2p things, but was sorted out quick).
Haven't seen much if any throttling on the link.

Does anyone know if it's possible to pause the Vox fatpipe account similar to what Afrihost offers?
As I'm sitting with an account that has not been used the last few months with 2.8TB of data that is unused. As I may want to use it again in the future and will probably never get a deal like this again.

How is Afrihost these days? I left them for Vox when their network shat itself and they tried that whole experimental network bull****. But I've really have had enough of Vox now. Is Afrihost back to normal? Or can anyone reccomend another ISP?
