Thanks for the replies, guys
Anyone else seeing Google Play Store downloads take a dip when downloading? E.g. Angry Birds will be downloading at line speed (9,2 mbps) but then dips down to 1 mbps and then back up again. Does it about 4 to 5 times during the download. Nothing else seems affected. Trying to figure out where the issue lies.

Now I am sick and tired of this BS!!!! For a year I have had 4x vox fat pipe accounts. Everytime I must hear they don't throttle their accounts. I tested this over numerous times this week. The moment I reboot with one of my 4x accounts I get a full 10mb/s speed. Just after a day or two the download speed goes down to 385kb/s. Tested with Webafrica 1GB free account and also get full speed. They are lying through their teeth. I am done with them, forever.
Agree something up from the weekend. This type of issues has been coming up for a few months now. Streaming is acting very weird. IPTV streams and YouTube not good at all.
Doing a speed test still shows good throughput, but thats not the experience I'm getting. It's almost looks like shaping.

VOX has Rollover data that I can never use because of lack of reliability.
Off Topic: Does Telkom also have rollover data?
Not that I am aware of but they are about to announce some new bundles so I am waiting to see what is on offer, especially on Fiber as they are ready to cable our building.
Hi
I would like to know if anyone has tried Vox Telecom Fatpipe capped package and is it any good? I am switching from Telkom uncapped (slowest speed and bad service) and I am looking for a new ISP. I use about 75GB a month on a 4 meg line, mainly on P2P downloads and streaming. I need an ISP that does not throttle. Which will be the best ISP?
Please Advise
Telkom and Fibrehoods done in our building
Telkom's blackbox at each units door (these guys have capex)
Fibrehoods boxes only at each floor entrance (not has brave!)
Now just to get the best ISP....![]()
Both Openserve and Fibrehoods (Vuma) installed in your building?
