Vox Telecom Fatpipe

I have been with vox for a while I am on the wireless fat pipe and all it gave me was problems, for the last 8 months I get half my lines speed, packet loss, high latency and just plain I have no connection for a long time. Every time someone from vox contacts me they promise the same thing over and over again and nothing gets fixed.

Anyone else seeing Google Play Store downloads take a dip when downloading? E.g. Angry Birds will be downloading at line speed (9,2 mbps) but then dips down to 1 mbps and then back up again. Does it about 4 to 5 times during the download. Nothing else seems affected. Trying to figure out where the issue lies.

Even on apple store it isn't smooth sailing..

Now I am sick and tired of this BS!!!! For a year I have had 4x vox fat pipe accounts. Everytime I must hear they don't throttle their accounts. I tested this over numerous times this week. The moment I reboot with one of my 4x accounts I get a full 10mb/s speed. Just after a day or two the download speed goes down to 385kb/s. Tested with Webafrica 1GB free account and also get full speed. They are lying through their teeth. I am done with them, forever.

I have a Telkom backup account that often out performs VOX, but as it is limited bandwidth I use it only for critical live feeds.
I am now waiting to see what Telkom Offers in its new Internet bundles and may well just drop VOX.
Telkom are talking about packages that are cheaper, have larger caps and are reliable.
VOX has Rollover data that I can never use because of lack of reliability.

Agree something up from the weekend. This type of issues has been coming up for a few months now. Streaming is acting very weird. IPTV streams and YouTube not good at all.

Doing a speed test still shows good throughput, but thats not the experience I'm getting. It's almost looks like shaping.

Also getting lots of buffering lately, was never like this before

That's why I m using capped account to get good speeds.

Vox please investigate

Off Topic: Does Telkom also have rollover data?

Not that I am aware of but they are about to announce some new bundles so I am waiting to see what is on offer, especially on Fiber as they are ready to cable our building.

Telkom and Fibrehoods done in our building :)

Telkom's blackbox at each units door (these guys have capex)
Fibrehoods boxes only at each floor entrance (not has brave!)

Now just to get the best ISP....

Hi
I would like to know if anyone has tried Vox Telecom Fatpipe capped package and is it any good? I am switching from Telkom uncapped (slowest speed and bad service) and I am looking for a new ISP. I use about 75GB a month on a 4 meg line, mainly on P2P downloads and streaming. I need an ISP that does not throttle. Which will be the best ISP?
Please Advise

Best ISP I've used. I've used many. Streaming on fatpipe works well.

Both Openserve and Fibrehoods (Vuma) installed in your building?

Sheesh guys, I've been running fatpipe for months on end without any problems. It outperforms my capped Telkom account by miles.

Only gripe is I have 2.1 TB data again since this morning :D

Yuuuuuup!

Telkom uses round white conduit with small black boxes (for single connection, but at each apartment door), and Fibrehoods has the square flat conduits with grey boxes (for multiple connections at entrance of each floor). Runs parallel to each other.

Things are happening guys...

Well, maybe unrelated but I was trying to remote into a pc connected on VOX/Fibrehoods ftth and was getting constant disconnects and now they completely offline.... So....
