Regarding Vox telecoms 1Mbps uncapped at R99pm. My aunt just got it but her speed is so bad that that she cant even stream radio. Ive asked others who have the same thing and they say it should be fast enough to stream Youtube videos.
Is this true?

Can you perhaps test with a free 1gb account from Afrihost/Axxess/WebAfrica?

I've noticed a lot of weird slowness lately, mostly international sites. It gets really really slow, like sub 1Mbit.

Next time I find an example I'll post a link.

Definitely been issues my side as well - I woke up this morning to find my system down from just after midnight. Trying to upload an 11Gb file is no fun.

Last night and this morning Twitch streaming would die to the low 50Kb/s for a few minutes then recover. Had to switch to axxess last night.

Those of you with Twitch streaming issues, aren't you guys using something such as the Twitch 5 browser extension or the Streamlink GUI Twitch app?

For me, with either I have no issues streaming 1080p on my 12mb ADSL line. Can even run two 1080p streams simultaneously without any problems using my 400GB Vox Fatpipe account.

I just checked out the Twitch 5 extension, it's really nice, if it works like this all the time I'll switch from Streamlink.

Yeah, the Twitch 5 extension works wonders. Only failed me once so far, which forced me to use Streamlink. Otherwise it's really awesome, and it integrates nice via your browser

Mine was intermittent all day saturday and Sunday and died completely on Sunday evening.
Speed tests were fine as always but streaming was almost impossible and P2P found hardly any pears.
Those that it did find vanished suddenly partway into the download.

In the end I had to switch to my Telkom account to stream last night.

Sent a report to support and requested a line/account reset.
I suspect that they randomly shape P2P and Streams and see if the account holder notices.
I have had this befor where the reply is that they could see nothing wrong but P2P and streaming worked perfectly again.
