Because occasionally news clients don't close the connections properly after a completed download, and it ends up breaching the 15 limit and the server then rejects the connection. So we suggest 10 so this potentially doesn't happen...

So you don't know about the zero rated midnight to 6am? :(

when will the client control panel reflect this? I'm scared to download a lot because I don't know how much real cap I have left

If I've just signed up to Telkom uncapped on a month to month basis, can I decide to immediately move Line and ISP to somebody else like Vox or Crystal web? Will I be billed for migrating the line and data to somebody else

If the line is new occasionally Telkom have an issue with this and the migration may come back as rejected due to a contract on the line. However you can use any ISP irrespective of who manages the line itself...

At the moment, you can't game on VOX if you're in the South...Local latency tops 200ms in the evenings recently. I also experienced this last year on VOX so its not a new thing. And no...it's not my line.

You should ask cvanwie to look at this, this should not be a big thing to fix

Happy to keep the line, but the data option? If I wanted to remove that bit, would Telkom have an issue?

I actually dont care about the data roll over, but the unlimited midnight to 6am. So who between CW and VOX offers this?
