Hi therre

Do any one know of a P2P VPN for old Classic games. We want to play like old classic games where you only can use LAN connection.
I know of a few providers like Hamachi, Zerotier, but it seems you connect to some server and then you are on a local LAN, but the ping is not so good.
I have heard about Tailscale VPN, but have not test it for gaming.

Any good recommendations.
We are only 5 people at max, so dont really nead a subscription for many users.

Thanks Will look into it.
I thought Hamachi and Zerotier, the host was the server you connect to for VPN?
Thats we also thought, but the latency was bit high for local. It felt you connect to Europe server or something. Maybe if you have a paid version, then you can use that option to do P2P, but i am not sure about that

So there is overhead, but not seeing any cross-planetary traffic

Thanks will try it tonight. Ya the Red Alert Remastered, does not work nice on steam. Struggle to get private games going, and what my friend read about the connection, you still connect to some server to use a host game on Red Alert. So we would like to try the LAN option.
