Hi Guys

I am setting up Telkom VPN lite and I am stuck on one issue.

Site A Lan Subnet

10.0.23.0/24

Site B Lan subnet 10.0.24.0/24

I have set up within windows multiple static IP address/DNS/Default gateway as the user goes to both sites.

My challenge is when I ping Site A from Site B I have no problems if remove multiple Static IPs,if I have
multiple static IPs' I have a problem.

Is there a way I can fix this as I don't want the user to change his IP all the time ?

Thanks
DD

Print out your gateway IPS and segments, Probably just need to add a static route

Setup a DHCP server on both networks, then no need for static ip's....

It's not going to work if the pc is trying to ping site B while it has site B IP assigned to itself while on Site A, you will only be able to ping your local site A network and your own site b IP...
As far as the pc is concerned site B is "local" and will not try to hop over a router to get to that network... make sense?

Suppose you could start adding static routes and see if that might solve it but don't over-complicate things, just setup those DHCP server/s...
If you want them to get the same ip every time reserve them in dhcp

Thanks Guys for the reply.I used the DHCP reservation method and it works fine.I also added a ROUTE but could not get it
to work.
