Hi Guys,

Hope someone can give me some info on this.

I need to create a IPSec VPN network for my company to connect standalone servers in multiple offsite client sites. I was thinking of getting a VPS and setting up RRAS on it. We do not want to host the server ourselves as connectivity is an issue in terms of uptime.

The server would only be used as a VPN server. There will be no other services running on it.

My questions are the following:

1. Would this be a suitable solution?
2. Considering that we have about 30 sites to connect currently and looking to expand to about 100 in the next 2 years, what server spec would be sufficient? Traffic wise, its very low traffic eg. about 1GB of traffic per site per month.

Thanks in advance for the help

You can either use an Ubuntu VPS or get a router with VPN capabilities (server)
