I have a managed VPS account with VPS Networks (http://www.vps.co.za/) and they appear to be down since yesterday evening. Nobody is answering emails or telephone calls.

Anybody know what's going on, have they skipped town? :(

Managed to make contact via their facebook page. Problem being rectified.

Their support is probably the worst for any hosting company in the country. I had to remove any mission criticial hosting away from their network. Theyre the South African equivalent of Virpus. Dont host any of your clients stuff on their networks.

I've been with them for about six months and have been very impressed with their service. This is the first hiccup I've experienced with them. I hope that I don't have to move any time soon.

You are lucky. Good luck.

I really wanted them to be a good host. Ive got lots of business and their prices are good.

I'd like to clarify that we are not "down".

There are a small amount of VMs experiencing issues due to unplanned maintenance of which majority of them are already back up. We sent out email communication twice and updated facebook/twitter throughout this.

@ixian - please update any ticket if you are still having issues and thank you for your kind words.
@ghoti - i'm sorry you feel that way, we 'd love to see you try our new services/hardware/infrastructure - i'm sure you would be very impressed.

If there are still any outstanding issues, please create a ticket via your portal, we'd be happy to assist.
