On the ONT you would need to DMZ the router IP. There will always be a double nat situation because the ONT dials the pppoe. Using the DMZ feature will open all the ports to the second router which you can use to do port forwarding ect

Same here. But i have a route planned of along my boundry wall into my house. I measured it to about 37 meters. We will see what the installation techies say on monday.Got a call now from Vuma. Installation will take place on Monday between 13:00 to 14:00. I am below road level and there is a double garage on the roadside and then my house, will there be any extra charges say for running the fibre through a conduit alongside the garage, under awnings and into the main building? I have been quoted R50 per metre if Vuma has to dig up my yard and I think any excess cabling would cost extra. I dont think I would want my yard dug up as it would not be returned to it's original state(tarred).
