They're repairing tar and stuff here so hopefully Sunford goes live soon, Afrihost site states I can pre-order so that's a good thing?

Damn. if you dont have inverter system, it might be worth it to get a UPS for your router, like a gizzu or rattelBut then we gonna get hit with the load shedding 18:00 till 20:00
Is the PON light solid?I dodged work during my break and I see that the red light has stopped blinking. It's blinking green now. I have to go back to work soon, Im not sure if these guys would need to come and check inside my home again. Does blinking green light mean I'm good to go?
Like run it into your house? How do they thread the Fibre all over?
Yes like run to all the streets to those floor boxes , most the trenches are covered here but corners of streets still have trenches open , do they use those trenches to send the cables?Like run it into your house?

Got off at work around 5. Luckily I managed to get the guy responsible for sorting out my line as he was grafting a few metres away. He came in checked the ONT device and said the PON should stop blinking around 3-4 hours and then I should sms my ISP for login credentials. I told him it was blinking for more than 4 hours, then told me it's normal. Is this normal? When the PON light is solid, then your ISP activates your line. Afrihost will send an email out in a few hours as well
