Vuma Reach Phoenix Thread

Bruh I got notified now that my access box is live. Problem is I'm at work and can't take leave. Will only be able to check up once at home which is after 17:00

Lol bruh I can live a few hours without the internet but I get your point. Hope its sorted out for real this time.

I dodged work during my break and I see that the red light has stopped blinking. It's blinking green now. I have to go back to work soon, Im not sure if these guys would need to come and check inside my home again. Does blinking green light mean I'm good to go?

Is the PON light solid?

Yes like run to all the streets to those floor boxes , most the trenches are covered here but corners of streets still have trenches open , do they use those trenches to send the cables?
They use pneumatics to blow the fibre into the microducts

When the PON light is solid, then your ISP activates your line. Afrihost will send an email out in a few hours as well
Got off at work around 5. Luckily I managed to get the guy responsible for sorting out my line as he was grafting a few metres away. He came in checked the ONT device and said the PON should stop blinking around 3-4 hours and then I should sms my ISP for login credentials. I told him it was blinking for more than 4 hours, then told me it's normal. Is this normal?

Not too sure, blinked thrice then went solid.

I read in the manual that blinking is when it's trying to register with the OLT.
