Vumatel down for 1 week

We have had no service for a full week now in Halfway Gardens, Midrand.
Vumatel has not provided any feedback and Cool ideas escalation agent hasn't provided feedback either.
Can you please provide some update other than they are working on it?
Our neighbour received a visit from Vumatel engineers who first told him CoJ and other vendors often damage fibre lines and cause these issues, before they left they told him an installer needs to come check.
Our entire complex is down if indeed it is an installation issue can this be communicated or actioned?

Sure will look into it, I imagine it's DFA related.
 
Not sure what to make of this but broadband light on the ONT turned on today but service light is still off. Hopefully it won't be another week until resolution :notworthy:

Feedback I got was expected resolution was supposed to be yesterday, so will follow up again.
 
I believe Vumatel resolved the issue but your line is still down, I believe my team has communicated as much?
 
Yes, then received another call around 2 hrs afterwards and the line was sorted. Thanks very much

If there are multiple users affected in an area, why is no one coming out to have a look and resolve or advise of major network problem?
