Line Cancellation

We have just moved home and last week we signed up for our new FTTH connection with Cool Ideas.

We are still not connected because they say Vumatel says the old line will only be cancelled on the 25th of December.

But the past tenants say that as of the first of December their line was cancelled at our place and moved to their new place.

What could possibly be the reason that Cool Ideas continues to say the line is not cancelled ?

Surely this is juts something Vumatel needs to change on their side ?

Why doesn't Cool Ideas escalate this.

Especially before the festive season.

Its a serious gap in the system.

Just some feedback on the progress here.

So after bit of a push we managed to find proof on our own using the the previous tenants feedback from their ISP, proving cancellation of the line.

With this document then Vumatel could release the line.

Issue resolved after much confusion but resolved.

Cool ideas was very helpful.
