Vumatel taking over Herotel

Bruh...Herotel-bros on suicide watch right now.

My understanding is their fibre offering is on a closed network targeting estates but that it's pretty good for what you pay. Contrast that with Vumatel that's known for rather....shĂt service, if the forum is anything to go by.

Bigger eats big. Personally I'd have not approved the transaction. Globally I know for a fact this just means more business for micro operators. So meh

By me Vuma was banned from the metro, because they were deliberately destroying other providers infrastructure, plus in any area they were in they were ignoring no dig areas, cutting off water, power and sewage all over, plus no copper pipe, brass meters or any other brass was safe, and every single metal manhole cover near them, and any iron cover, vanished at the end of the day.

Also did no reinstatement other than put the dirt back, and never paid the required deposits and the costs they got billed for the metro to repair damage and reinstate roads and driveways. they stopped 500m up the road from me, which was great as otherwise all the infrastructure by me would have been destroyed.

Honestly couldn't complain about Herotel, internet and service is good...

So am I gonna be on Vumatel now, or will Herotel still operate but under Vuma control?

It wouldn't matter which. If Vumatel start to touch Herotel ops, then expect enshittification.
Vumatel isn't going to buy Herotel to NOT touch it.
Oh yea, they bought it to play with those networks, here in Pretoria we had Bronberg Wireless internet, then Herotel bought them and now Vumatel buys Herotel. Next up Level 7
