I'm not necessarily advocating actually shooting the protestors directly (though it did seem that way), I am more thinking along the lines of rubber bullets, mixed in with a few live rounds fired strategically to not hit anyone... that should scare off a good portion of the protestors purely due to the "danger" aspect.

Anyway, a bit of a fail move on their part, protesting on the day after a public holiday, when a lot off people have taken off. There was impact alright, but it was really minimal.

If they were white and associated with the ANC nothing would happen. However if they were white and not associated with the ANC, the usual race card would get pulled, but certainly no reason to accuse them of treason or jail them. It's all political. No need to make dramatic claims of reverse apartheid, whatever that is.
