The ANC lost two high ranking women, and then deflected the issue by pointing at Zille's all male "cabinet" (whatever they're called).

Seems to have worked, too.

Zille said a lot of derogatory stuff that just so happens to be true and then the ANCYL and MK decided that threatening civil war is a good idea.

No one disputes it however it is a bit curious that not even a single woman is capable enough to serve in Hellen's cabinet.
It became even more curious when the guy appointed as Educatiion MEC admitted to having to read up on the DA's education policy. That could mean that he has not even been involved in the education related committees. How then can we assume that he can deliver, when he has not even demonstrated any particular interest in the sector?

Because the DA might not choose woman, but they choose competent non-criminals as a result.

The competence of all the members of the cabinet has been demonstrated. As such they were the best people for the job.

If this is the best the ANC can come up with to attempt to undermine the Western Cape government they're in for a bumpy ride. And look not a criminal amongst the MECs. What's more important, meeting quotas or ensuring they're filled by assigning corrupt individuals? Your attitude is the whole reason the ANC lost the Western Cape in the first place.
