I still have my generator connection if needed with a change-over switch. We decided to leave the gen change-over instead of connecting it to the gen input on the inverter.

Let the data logging begin.:cool::p

The Astutes have been set to switch on at 13:00 and off at 15:00 every day to make use of the PV. We will see how it goes.

Do you know if it's possible to export data to something like Home Assistant? Very nice system :love:

I see you left space there for another Hubble. Nice system you have there.

Correct, i will first see how one hubble copes before getting another one.

The whole house is on the essential side of the inverter. Did not want to split loads etc. That's why I opted for the 8kw Sunsynk. A bit of headroom.

Gas hob and the whole house are using LED lights. 2 x 24000 BTU Inverter aircons

Congrats on the system hope it serves you well!

Also eyeing minimal production in the Gauteng weather today

Your system is perfect and you will likely add the second hubble your def have sufficient PV

Not sure. Im only using the solarman smart atm.
There is an integration that allows you to bring Solarman data into HA but you are unable to control the Inverter

There are other integrations that use a Raspi that can allow you to manage the inverter but they're a lot more involved

Not a fan of those Suntree Orange SPD's at all.

I had some self immolate. This was 11 years back when I installed one of my first systems.

They were recalled a few months later in Australia too for the same issue I had.

How many of you did the installation yourselves? How much does the installation usually cost?
