W@P's Solar System

Gonna try sell mine, doubt there is a market for it though.

How much do you want for it?
I need to update one of my batteries firmware. I cant be bother to take thing in.

Solar assistant also shows SOH as far as I know.

I can't believe they still have this thing for sale. WTF are you supposed to do with it?
1st of all it doesn't come with the required cable to get the correct info on the RIOT portal. That was a special request that they didn't charge me for. They just couriered the cable.

What a total POS
You may still need it, in the eventuality that you need Hubble remote support.

Solar Assistant is really the way to go if you want proper monitoring.Get the cables for both battery and inverter.
I have ordered it. Should be arriving today or tomorrow.

I am still uncertain about these hubbles. I want to do proper monitoring before I reach out to them again and Solar Assistant seems to be the way to go.

For inverter if it's a Deye/Sunsynk, go with the RS485 cable. That way you can still leave the Dongle in for Solarman app and use both simultaniously.

Yes, that's the one I took. Will be interesting to see the batteries individual readings.

Very intriguing. R3400 +- to get all the metrics a tech wet dream is made of.

Big part of this can be funded by the cloudlink refund. But what if I need support on my batteries down the line.

It does look decent. Just can't justify spending more money on monitoring my system after already getting the cloudlink at this stage.
Eventually consider it. Nothing like having a realtime system to monitor and being able to remotely also change settings from anywhere in the world.

An investment, but I think it is worth every cent.As I mentioned go with the RS485 Inverter cable if you use Deye/Sunsynk to still be able to have Solarman app as well and then the battery cable.

Don't know about battery support direct from Hubble.

True. Do I need all the data though. Nice to monitor now but I might get bored of the fun down the line.
