had my fair share of brontok and other worms,but the best things and tools to use is not a av of any sort.....its the special tools that is designed for a specific virus that works the best.
i know some will disagree with me but its true,Sometimes a av will destroy that .exe but most special tools will save it for you and make a program virus free and usable.i know they are copies of the original.
There is one tool i cant live without and i have been using it for many years....hijackthis
