For the last two days I've been getting weird packet loss on my Fibre line through WebAfrica, I've tried another ISP's account as well and it's doing the same thing.

ping www.google.com -t

The frequency varies from every 5-10 minutes and sometimes it would be fine for 30+ minutes.

Anyone else experiencing similar issues or have advice on what the cause could be?

#Could a mod just fix the title to Openserve please?

Haii , So this seems to be the same thing that happened to me about a year ago. The thing is back then the fault was at one of telkom's DSLAM's , if this is happening to you it's probably happening to the users in your area aswell. Get in contact with the Telkom rep on MyBB they fixed the problem for me and people in my area ( don't even try to call , the problem is highly unusual and will be easier to understand with the screenshot ) - ENIAC

Oh and even though it is openserve I believe Telkom would be able to help since they are in a partnership . Goodluck

Openserve = Telkom. So contacting either will help.

Thanks for the replies, yea I did log a support ticket with my ISP in hopes of it getting fixed.

But it definately looked like it was DSLAM related and I think they were working on it over the weekend and it looks fixed now.
