With merrit I think!!!

We were very upset when the English brought their thirdbest team to our shores and now we to the same to Oz and Nz?!?!

"We are seeking an urgent meeting of Sanzar (the partnership body governing South African, New Zealand and Australian Rugby) to overturn this decision.

I think they are right to ask SANZAR to order SARU to send the best possible team to Australia and NZ for the remainder for the Tri-Nations!!

Hopefully SANZAR will step in here!!

..and with that sacrifice any chance we have at the World Cup. No thanks.

Yes, second-string teams is a problem, and the number of matches being played in total really needs to be reconsidered but I'd much rather watch hungry young players play in this year's Tri nations (even if they lose), than watched a team of tired boks running out of steam in a WC semi final.

gonna lmao when that second $ team beats them (but not the AB)

I think its unfair of South Africa complaining about second string team touring to our shours and them we go and also send second string teams...

The Boks, Aus, NZ played the same amount of rugby this season but they don't send their second best teams...they send their first teams to build up for the WC.

Fourie is not going to rest him. What utter BS is that? He rested for the pas 4 weeks so he don't need any further rest - he urgently needs game time!!! And this is the same for a few other players!!

Its funny the ARU didnt complain about the NZ coach odering all his players not to play the first half (about 7 weeks) of the Super14.

"It may be a Rugby World Cup year and the Springboks may have played five Tests in a row but we face the same situation. We all knew the Test schedule well in advance, we all knew about the Rugby World Cup.

Yep, Jake is talking BS with that "it's ludicrous to send our best players on tour now" . NZ and AUS are doing it, and they'll probably win the WC with those exact same players....our boks seems to a bunch of unfit softies who injure way to easily, too afraid to play matches because they might be too sore and tired for the WC huh ?

What would really be an issue is if we cant get at least three really good teams together in this country.... count the players on the field and bench... such a pity we don't have that much talent any more.

white has lost the plote thats for sure

geez if they go with their full strength team, they will still have nearly 2 months to recover lol come on now

what a let down the rugby will be now :( i hope they make him his best because its total BS

Well they just have to include willemse in the touring side, and it will from all techical perspective be the crappiest team we have, oh wait that is the same team that onyl played for 65 minutes on saturday.

Strange, the more the money, the more the injuries, we should go back to the days when it was not professional, ergo, you no play, you no pay. The you'll see most injuries will immediately cured by water

Our "weakened" team would have beat England and our "weakened" team is going to beat Aus on home soil (I hope, I will piss my self if this happens). Fact is our "weakened" team are mostly experienced campaigners, only 3 have yet to be capped. Here is our team for those that have not seem it.

SPRINGBOK SQUAD : Johan Ackermann, Eddie Andrews, Gary Botha, Deon Carstens, Tonderai Chavhanga, Michael Claassens, Bolla Conradie, Bismarck Du Plessis, Jannie Du Plessis, Bevin Fortuin, Peter Grant, Derick Hougaard, Wayne Julies, Hilton Lobberts, Johann Muller, Waylon Murray, Wynand Olivier, Breyton Paulse, Ruan Pienaar, JP Pietersen, Jaco Pretorius, Bob Skinstad, Albert van den Berg, Wikus van Heerden, AJ Venter, Cobus Visagie, Pedrie Wannenburg, Luke Watson

Your ignorance in the limits of the human body are astounding. I would love to see you play even 2 consecutive test matches, let alone 5 tests in a row and an entire S14 season. Then talk about your magic water and a team that was badly fatigued after 70 odd minutes of grueling rugby.

I am firmly astride the fence on this one. I believe every test match is just that and it is there to be won & you therefore put your best team on the field. On the other hand, it's the Assies that are whining so......................:D

Buddy ..why dont you go and look at the teams we are playing against, its the same teams that played in the super 14, and am now playing in the tri nations (this excludes england). Strange how they are playing their best teams, but it must surely be the efeminite males you surround yourself with. And guess what, their best teams just come back for more. And they are the strongest teams in the world.

And lets enlighten your broad mind and vision too, a game is 50% mental as well as physical, if both aus and nz sweep the field with us in the devastating manner they are going to, we wont even be a factor in the world cup, most of the "rested"players will just have horror stories of what happened.

And I also feel the same with the crowd watching, they paid for the best now they have to put up with us sending a second best squad cause we have more "important" things to work on, as if we are the only team playing in the world cup

*cough* NZ rested their "key" players for the majority of the S14. And no Aus team made it past the round robin stage so that is another 2 weeks break. AB's had an extra week while our guys were in the final. We have played through all this. We dominated Australia last week and it was just poor decision making and finishing that the score was not completely different.

This really creates a mess. Tri-nations should be played to the highest standard possible. Now south africa are going to lower the standard, all in the name of the world cup. That's pathetic.
