Walmart stores launching in SA

Game and Makro sell the same stuff at same prices and Wallmart owns them. So it will probably just be a rebrand with the same stuff and prices.
 
If any American retail brands were to come to SA, Walmart is the least exciting.....bring on MicroCenter and Sam's Club, then we'd have something.
 
This is likely to be a re-brand/reposition of the Game stores in my opinion, I just don't see the value in opening a new set of stores when that market is relatively saturated with Massmarts own brands already.

Sam's Club is Walmart.

EDIT: and anyone who had ever been to one can recognise it's just a wannabe Costco.

HifiCorp is also part the Incredible group. I had the misfortune of having to deal with them last week. I will not ever set foot in one of their stores again.
 
It's really going to be interesting and fun on the one side to see happening...... I think they would change game stores to wallmart maybe....??

They're not really big on those sort of things.
 
The only way to improve GAME stores is to get rid of the useless staff that work there, GAME is the worst store in the whole country
