WANTED: Beta testing job

Any beta testing jobs available for apps, software, websites, games, services in development? I have a large variety of devices to test on. I am also a perfectionist and by nature can easily identify issues or faults and then clearly communicate them with the development team. NDAs welcome. Please inbox me. TIA
 
So you want to get paid installing and using software?

Those jobs arn't easy to come by unfortunately especially in SA.
I'm sure the international market will be a better bet.

After all, why wouldn't an international firm want someone with a computer from Africa to test their software?

Yes, just for extra income and I really do like beta testing and providing feedback to improve products before they launch (GFN). I posted here as I can't find anything online. DM'd a couple of develepors directly on other platforms as well. Testing seems very secretive in SA or they don't test at all. I mean the likes of Showmax with the new app coming etc. If you know of any pointers please DM me

Bud honesty you wont get anything if you dont have some formal education or work to prove that you can do it.
My 10c - Learn a programming language like C#,Java Python or even Javascript and go into Specflow and appium here you will be able test websites and app with Specflow and appium.
best way that you will get something close to Beta testing.

That's because they don't exist.

Nobody pays for Beta testers, those happen out in the wild.

What you are looking for is a Tester job as a title, but that involves actually debugging and understanding code not just playing with stuff and providing feedback.

There's a **** load of testing done, long before it comes close to the market and those are real jobs. There really is very little need for anything beyond that and especially not to pay someone for it. Beta testing is more of a carrot for early adopters to feel cool about themselves these days.

On the odd occasion you might find some once off market research done for a given product/app which is marginally paid for.

Hi there thanks for the response. Windows 11 PC, Android 13 smartphone, LG WebOS 6.3 tv, Vidaa 6.0 Toshiba TV, Apple TV tvOS 17, Android TV 11 device. Please PM me what you need done

Yeah I am just looking to help with a bit of QC. I have a full time job in a whole different industry
