Abidjan "Trou-sans-fond" repair campaign status.
After completing WACS second fault repair, including replacement of a repeater,
CS Retriever transited Northwards to the position of the fourth and last damaged cable of this repair campaign, namely MainOne S5.
Tentative ETR 11MAY24.

Lots of other electric Ray's and stuff around that are not fresh water.

Edit:

I will concede that these prefer warmer waters and are generally not deep water types. We know more about Space than we do about our Oceans, the Dark and unfriendly Frontier.

Well true. Although I haven't heard of them attacking cables but Sharks are suspects!

Who knows what interference or irritation that is caused by cables to sharks/whales Orca's ultra sonic talents.

Still lots of weird and wonderful stuff around we know nothing about, and probably some not so wonderful stuff, we better off not knowing about.
 
Must admit. Starlink is chugging nicely. No need for ground stations here. I don’t want my SL to break out terrestrially down here.
