It has come to our attention that our upstream uncapped services have not been living up to modern expectations. We are unable to procure a satisfactory alternative upstream provider and have elected to no longer offer this product for resale.

Current subscriptions will be maintained for the time being, however we will review the status quo from time to time. We advise uncapped users who are not entirely satisified with the current product to not renew their subscriptions. We hope that a reduction in the subscription base would serve to alleviate any bandwidth crunch for the remainder of subscribers."

Well I suppose it's time to look around for something else. I must say I was happy with the service they provided until the upgrade went through. After that the problems started.
@ Lexor What will the notice period be when you decide to disconnect the service entirely?

my isp also closed down, ORB and my line got disconnected halfway through the month even though i paid in advance ... i lost out and now there's no way of getting the money back... apparently the guy has gone to the uk so not even in SA anymore

What upgrade are you speaking of? Is it the telkom 512kps to 1MBps that telkom are doing or another? If you are talking of the telkom 1, how does its affect only wazzup/cybersmart customers?

I have been very happy with this package so far, but where wil i find an uncapped/unshaped package now for R299. Not cool

Hi,

Yes I am talking about the 512 - 1 upgrade. I don't know why and maybe it's just a coincidence but I never had any issues with them up until the point the upgrade went through. Been disconnected 3 times and on calling the support they said that something had happened but they don't know what.

I'm not sure whether it is wazzup only but they seem to have been struggling.

Unfortunately I was very happy with their service and hope I can remain with them.
They had a good service and stable lines.

I really don't know who to choose now but I am hoping for the best

I'm with them, saw this last week as well. Good service so far, just hope that when they pull the final plug they give us notice.
My torrents always run between 35 to 44 on my 384 line.

Sad to hear about this =/ Been more than pleased with wazzup's service and was even hoping they would release a 1meg uncapped... Guess that is a no go.
