wbs rumours

that was a rumour, only one person actually said that wbs said it was uunets fault, however in #iburst 3 people heard the story about wbs moving users to a new managment system by midnight and some of us are already moved and then 2 people mentioned the same story here, so I don't think wbs actually said it was uunets fault
Slimothy, please re-read my post, your reply is out of synch with my post about the trend ;).

Guys,

Please don't listen to all the rumors.

I will be posting an update on this forum this morning as to what happend yesterday.

Lets not blame anybody yet untill we have a report of the problem.

I know the technical guys were working full out on this problem yesterday

I think the biggest problem is that WBS do not tell us what's going on (typical SA mushroom treatment). Once the users make a fuss, you eventually respond, normally playing for time.

You obviously have the infrastructure for a reasonable CRM system (helpdesk with telephone support, incident page, bulk mailing of users, etc) so the obvious problems are on the human side.

By admitting problems and actually informing users, you will save face, limit rumours and, to a large extent, reduce the load on your call centre operators.

SA Internet have come a long way since 10 years ago, those using broadband or higher speed connections are not (normally) dummies anymore.

BTW, if you read between the lines in these forums, the above is probably the main complaint about WBS, not the actual service. Most people can accept problems when they are kept informed and can see progress in resolving it and improving your service.

As has been said in these forums, brand loyalty is almost non-existent; on the other hand, brand disloyalty / bashing is on the increase...

please o please...give me back my 1mb connection...Shaun???? What happend to the testing? What was the purpose of the testing period???? Lots of angry ibursters just getting more and more angry by the day....How long do you expect us to hang around? Time = money!
