Hi

thanks for the help, it did give me more insight because my setup is communicating lets say, my two routers are connected wirelessly

and i have internet access on my second router(access point)

but the issue that i am having now is that i have internet access on my second pc but then i i loose my internet on my main pc

i know whats happening but don't know how to fix it.

the main pc looses its connection from the main router

any suggestion how to fix this

Hi There,
I need a little more info. If the main PC is connected to the main router and the second router is switched off does it keep the connection?
If you then turn on the second router without the 2nd PC turned on does the 1st PC stay connected?

You did leave the main router with DHCP on didn't you?

Regards

Tim

Hi there

thanks for all the all the help, but i got it to work

what was happening is the two routers had the same gateway, so when the routers connected it seemed like router one connection..

change the gateway and the 2nd router(bridge) got an IP from the DHCP from the 1st router everything sorted

works beautifully :-)

I have a spare billion 400g modem using a D-link 2750u as my main router.

I'm trying to connect my Xbox to the Internet, could I WDS to do this... By connecting the billion to my Xbox with an Ethernet cable?

Sorry for necroing
