Nice,no internal collision detection in the snake game, you can left-right yourself into a small pile while you decide your next move or reverse direction completely

My RPI4 4 GB:

Raspberry PI OS / Debian 11 (bullseye) 32 bit with 64 bit kernel (5.10.63-v8+)
router pppoe to ISP with fail over to LTE backup
nftables firewall
docker containers for:
  • wireguard vpn server - so I can connect from outside
  • pihole - DHCP, DNS, DNS Blacklist
  • battery_collect - collect stats from UPS
  • smart_plug - collect power stats from smart plugs
  • paho - mqtt-to-postgresql gateway
  • postgresql14 - database for time-series data from battery, solar, plugs
  • homeassistant - advanced home automation
  • grafana - charts
  • ifthen - basic home automation
  • mosquitto - mqtt
  • openspeedtest - Local LAN/WiFi speed test
  • smokeping - WAN monitor
  • vnstat - WAN traffic monitor
  • samba - backups (file share to 4TB disk)
CPU runs at <5% load
RAM 2/4GB free
5W power consumption

Looking to upgrade to 64 bit that was just released.

I like this article, everybody has to start at the basics.

Last year I started playing with Arduinos to set up a web server on an ESP32. Reminded me of how much I can still learn.

Maybe a follow-up article could be made for this one; hardening security of the device perhaps? Since it is publicly accessible, might be a useful article

This is a very cool project. I like it.

I gave my Raspberry Pi to @Thor many years ago. Wonder what he used it for.

Imagine you could travel back to the 90's and tell someone that, in less than 25 years, you could be running all of this off a PC the size of a credit card with more RAM than they had hard drive space with the total power consumption of one spinning hard drive.

Now imagine what we will have access to in 25 years from nowo_O

The way things are going over here (sociopolitically, economically, etc), we'll have nothing, and EU/USA/Asia will have everything. Time to move.

Kinda off topic but something to point out nonetheless.
