Weak rand has big impact on DStv

So subscribers can expect a hefty increase in the near future? Sorry for youuuuuuu!
 
Monochoice subscribers, get some vaseline whilst you can still afford it, for the next price increase.

They increase prices every year in April, but if the Rand continues to nosedive we can even expect two or more increases next year.

This happened once before.
 
Bummer so now they only gonna make 100 million profit
 
That's a sad story. Multichoice has quickly forgotten they used this story when the rand weakened in 2008 to R12/1$ in order to push up their prices. Then conveniently 'forgot' to lower prices once the rand strengthened to R6.80/1$. Guess billions of rand in profits are good for the pockets but not so good for the memory.
 
Waits for the it's still a great deal, I would pay double that not to have to lift my arse out of my couch crowd… aka the SuperSport fanboys.
