Weak rand has big impact on DStv

So going to be a 25% increase. If Telkom wasn't so unreliable I would cancel DSTV today

Then conveniently 'forgot' to lower prices once the rand strengthened to R6.80/1$. Guess billions of rand in profits are good for the pockets but not so good for the memory.

Luckily, today we have options via streaming.
If they bump prices up, more people will switch to streaming.
 
I don't know why MyBB is running this article? Its such a short article which seems like its almost done on request from Multichoice who might be doing a price increase soon...

Unless you earn or earned pounds it's still more expensive. ie You earn Rands convert them to pounds then spend.
