I considered getting a 50GB account in month 1 and not use so it rolls over to month 2 where I would upgrade it to a 300GB package. That way I would have a nice "buffer" always.

First month on WebAfrica after being with Afrihost for the last 2 years. Hoping for good things.
 
July 1st, and NNTP is still throttled to < 250k/sec during the day, on capped? So I guess that month-end excuse nonsense was exactly that? Glad I cancelled in time.

It's working fine tofay, will let you know if I have any more issues.
 
Still very pleased with my home uncapped 4mbit; despite going down to 3 stars rather quickly it's still very usable - Netflix buffering is a thing of the past (though I don't use HD because I Netflix on multiple TV's). Swapped over to my free AH 1gb today and within 5 minutes Netflix was buffering, first time since I've buffered in months.

I actually moved to WA 10Meg home this month to save some cash. Will be interesting to see how quickly the sars go down.

It's not the dream account we all wish for that you can abuse the hell out of and have full speed 24/7 but it's very stable and if you queue your p2p etc. to D+ hours you should be good to go. So far out of AH/Axxess/OpenWeb this is the best I've had, no intentions on swapping to anyone else at the moment.

Basically, it definitely isn't the account for you if you download 24/7 as your stars will fall quickly. If you schedule your downloads between 00h00 and 06h00 though then it works like a boss mostly. Just be aware of the calendar month's notice requirement to cancel.

Even on weekends? If so, then it's a big deal breaker for me :(
