Anyone having issues with secure sites? Have had issues for the past week with LogMeIn that keeps disconnecting from clients. Yesterday and today I have issues with Absa and Gmail as well...

Have had none of the problems mentioned. Actually, very few problems since the start of this thread...
 
I actually moved from WA due to constant connection drops and hearing it's always Telkom.
Spoke to Atlantic today, reckon they have biggest muscle to pressure Telkom.
New provider pretty much same issue, test revealed Router may be to blame (bought brand mew from WA). Purchased another router today, now Telkom lines down due to contracter chopping cable... GRRR

What is the possibility that WA is overloaded at night with everyone DL and gaming? My in-game latency is fine during the day and at nigh it will shoot up very randomly. tracert and line speeds seems fine, just gaming if affected.
 
Speeds are fine, finding problems with online gaming at night.

Hi Jeff,

Just an update on my situation.

A Telkom Technician came out to my DSLAM after your call centre requested them to do so and I don't know what rabbit they pulled out of the hat, but my line is flying today.

Almost getting full speeds on my 4Mb line in the the middle of the day. Definitely a first!!!

Line speeds are fine and DL are sitting at max line speed, WOW latency is sitting 250 and 1000ms. Can anyone confirm if online gaming is a problem or just me?
 
Yea latency is crap again Checked last night world was on 500ms used to be on 250 ms
But its all good telkom account saved the day :)

CBA with WA anymore using my telkom account more often now and with the extra bandwidth for half the price dont see the point in keeping WA

We did see a degradation on service last night, specifically for international browsing. These have been resolved and should have seen normal service levels from around 11pm last.
 
WA Dead again cant get onto any international sites?
