It usually means the ADSL authentication is failing. Create a PPP connection from PC & see what error it returns.
No the authentication with WA details are failing. The mistake can be on either side. e.g. If you type in a wrong password or if they say disabled the account on their side. Either one will give you the red light.no its a netgear, strange thing is i can still surf the net fine and it only happens on WA

Weird. Not aware of the red light indicating anything else. Next best guess then is that the netgear attempts to verify the internet connection by contacting XYZ server....which might not be available due to ISP issues.If that was the case i would not be able to surf the net or play online, as far as i understand it if theres a authentication problem be it on my side or theres i will have no connectivity what so ever.
