Web Africa ADSL general feedback

wa service is gone down - glad i just cancelled my acc with them.
 
Well, on the other hand, Darren, I notice that my son managed to decimate the last 16gig and capping the account in a space of 3 days (28th - 30th) on our 4meg line.

Morning Roadrunner,

This short outage was on our SA Hosting Control Panel environment, not ADSL.
The outage lasted 30 mins and only affected the Control Panel HTTP site, not any web-hosting at all. Customers websites, FTP, content etc etc was not affected.
 
Anyone having slow browsing? I have found pages to be loading very slowly, yet my speedtest is ok (bar speeds a bit slow). I know some afternoons before 5 things have not always been great
 
Just got kicked out of my online game... everytime I switch to WA account , I think 'yes' it's going well. But just to be disappointed yet again. Why doesn't my Afrihost account ever give any problems, but WA at least once a session ?
 
Had the same issues last night. Was fine around 19:00 - 20:00 then the lag just got worse till I got disconnected from gaming. Had to switch to Afrihost account again to complete the evening's session. No problems at all on Afrihost.

I've seen a few reported issues from last night. I'll request some feedback from our Engineering Team and post up some feedback as soon as it's available.

Sorry for the delays guys.
This was related to a DDoS attack unfortunately.

We've implemented measures to stop these from happening in future, I believe these have been pushed live already.
 
Currently a 400 Kbps stream is buffering on a 3 Mbps line.
 
Is this WA only or other ISP's as well? Cause my international on IS is up to crap.

We use WA at work, and their performance is fantastic!
