It's Jan van Riebeeck's fault !
Hope somebody might assist. I'm keen to sign up for a Web Africa account after getting vastly improved speeds on the test account.
Questions:
1) Are the test account representative of the speeds I can expect with WA? I've seen some user complaints that the test accounts perform better than the subscriptions.
2) What are the differences between Capped Home Pro and the Business Capped Pro?
Most of our business is done from home, so I'd prefer the speeds to be great during the day, but at the same time we often do video on demand streaming in the evenings which requires a good constant connecting without shaping. The Business accounts are prioritised during the day time hours, so does that mean one gets a reduced service during the evening which will mess about with the streaming? Is Home Capped Pro in this instance a better option for VOD?
I've checked the protocol priority chart on WA's FAQ, but its not always clear when things get shaped and what gets shaped.
1. The test account performs exactly the same the home capped account.
2. Business capped has less p2p shaping during the day.
If the test account worked for you, then Home Capped will be fine.
