WAMATT and RPM are big buddies, you never find rpm doing an article when Webafrica is not up to standard, but headline articles when they come out with crappy deals
Look on the bright side guys - at least WA is learning from this experience, and putting measures in place to avoid this happening in the future!
WAJeff said:Morning guys,
A quick update on the what's changed:
- The landing station in Portugal on SAT3 is still an issue.
- We're waiting for additional capacity via alternative routes, we're hoping for this to go live before mid-day today. We need to wait on Telkom to implement this.
- For now, international sites are the primary affected, local browsing should still be fine
I'll have an update posted as soon as it lands in my inbox.
Our Business (and Pro) quality accounts *should* still be performing decently. If anyone has noticed anything otherwise please let me know asap.No one can run a business like this.
Fully agreed. We absolutely can and will do better - I promise! We are working diligently at finding solutions to bring service levels back to their usual quality, across the board.Come on WA, you can do better than this!
Definitely! Once its ready, we'll certainly work at snatching some capacity up.It is time to put some light into that WACS cable.![]()
A simple email informing customers about the issue would have been fine but WA haven't even bothered with that. Hmmmm...I tend to get 6 billion reminders to make sure I have funds in my account for my debit order but a little client contact is too difficult. Come on WA....not cool
