I wouldnt touch Openweb ,check on the forum lots of bad forum posts about them , i would go Wa and look at the options , at least u have support on the forums with Wa compared to openweb lately

I'll say no, With telkom night surfer one have to connect and reconnect to make use of the night surfer.
With WA one can just start downloading before sleeping and next morning it done using 75% as night surf data assuming I sleep 10pm

I'm not a fan of Openweb but I have a free capped account from Openweb and Webafrica and there is no difference between the two accounts. They are basically the same and both performing AWESOME!

. I have the R149 package, cause I roughly use about 30 gigs during normal time. But the 80 gigs for between 00:00 - 06:00 just wasn't making it. Now that its 160gigs, all is well . Thank you WA

Under R40 a month is not such a big deal though, so I may just give Openweb a try for a month or two.
I don't think the support is what you should worry about with Openweb. Since they now have "control" over shaping with their uncapped accounts they have really gone downhill. The capped accounts are the total opposite actually. Really good accounts because they are IS based accounts and they are essentially no different from Webafrica.
It really is up to you. At R40 or so a month you can cancel at any time with no real financial headache.
I do however like Webafrica's website and control panel WAY more. You can do everything you want there. That is also a advantage Webafrica has over Openweb
No stay very far away from those Telkom unlimited night surfer accounts they are just rubbish! I made the mistake of signing up (at least 40 min on the phone) for the 20Mbit + 50 gig account for R601. My first new telkom bill came and the two products are not properly bundled so I am paying far more than the expected R601. Netflix randomly drops down to SD and sometimes buffer in the middle of a program. Youtube often buffers @ 1080p in the middle of a clip but switching to my webafrica capped account solves the problem. The telkom news server is very slow during the day and evening but speeds up after 00:00. The big let down is torrents. Torrents are basically dead during prime hours and pretty slow even during the night surfer time. Cancellation is by phone after holding for >30min and they require 30 days notice. Not worth it!

I have downgraded my WA package on the control panel in December... They are still charging the wrong amount, now I have run after them to try to get a refund. Billing department and website is not integrated... just looks like it is.
I think I'm going to go back to this

Tip for Webafrica on the home capped accounts. 6am-6pm being throttled to 50%-60% of line speed or halve line speed of the 40/20/10 meg users. From 6pm full line speeds till 6am. Drop the price by 20%-25% for the non after hours users.
This is only for the non after hours leeches.
For all capped users implement 6pm Fridays afternoons to 6am Mondays mornings. No rolling windows or throttling for that period.
